Because of my college bound sister getting ready for her roadtrip to Tennessee I have not been able to access the computer because all of her stuff was taking up space in the living room.
This is actually my 5th since I started this Healthy Living Journal, but I will give a brief recap of days 3 and 4. For the first 2 days, I struggled with my lunch choices and I am happy to say that days 3 and 4 were much better. On day 3 I had some tuna pasta salad at work. Most pastat salads that I have had contained a lot of mayonnaise, but the mayonnaise content in this particular salad was just right plus our cook at Kindercare added shredded carrots which made it extra healthy and tasty. When I had my break later in the day, I had some thin sliced ham, a slice of fat free cheese and some nuts that I had brought with me. Yesterday, I got out of work early and I walked over to Starbucks and I had a small bannana/orange/mango smoothie with green tea powder and a corn and black bean salad.
I have not had lunch yet today but for breakfast I had 1 wholewheat blueberry pancake with very little butter and sugar free syrup. I am not sure what I am having for lunch but it will be something from Whole Foods, because I am doing some shopping there.
A good part of healthy living is just going out and having fun. Last night me and three friends saw Sara Bareilles, Counting Crows, and Maroon 5. All three artists were absolutely amazing and I had the time of my life.(I will write more about the concert in a different post later).
Health Eating and Happy Living Everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!
