This is my first attempt at keeping a Healthy Living Journal.
Today for breakfast I had a Weight Watchers English Muffin with Smuckers All-Nautural Creamy Peanut Butter and a short glass of light pomegranite juice. I also had a mug of chocolate-coconut coffee with fat-free creamer.
Working at a day-care center is a very active job for me as I do a lot of running around after and with the children in my care.
Then came lunch--Clam Strips and French Fries from Bob's Luncheonette. Not as healthy as my breakfast or my dinner which I will describe later, buy extremely delicious.
If I want to splurge, I try to do it at lunch or breakfast but I am not that active later in the day.
For dinner, I had a tuna fish sandwich with fat-free mayonnaise and light bread accompanied by some soy crisps and a dab of hummus and light cheese spread.
I was always fairly thin throughout my teens but I put on the Freshman 15+ in college and have been dealing with the extra weight ever since then. But the toughest thing for me is dealing with the insecure body images of those around me; people smaller than me who are not happy about the way that they look. While I need to have more healthy eating habits and exercise more, I maintain a positive outlook about myself. I am not a size 8 or even a 10 or 12. I would not mind if I were a 8, 10, or 12 but I am loving myself they way that I am at this very moment!
Happy Living and Healthy Eating Everyone!!!!!!
