A healthy breakfast for my kids has always been a top priority of mine. One of their favorite breakfasts of all time is fruit and oatmeal. Not only is it healthy but it's so easy to make!
I use milk (makes it taste SO much better) instead of water to make their oatmeal and then add fresh fruit. Bananas, strawberries and raspberries are their favorites! I simply slice them up and stir them into their oatmeal. I serve it with a cold cup of milk to get their morning off to a great start.
You will need:
1 1/2 C rolled oats
1 C milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 C sliced strawberries
Follow cooking instructions on the package for the rolled oats, then add your extra ingredients for added flavor!
