Summer is right around the corner so I'm stepping up my fitness routine! I know, I know, I should be concerned about it year round. I usually am, but there's something about those summer dresses in the stores that make me want to try a little harder.
During the winter I'll switch up the elliptical machine and treadmill a few times a week. But since it's warmer out, I'll run outside. I always need to have my iPod when I go running because I'm just more motivated that way. I have a special playlist that I've created just for my workout routine labeled "Fit". My favorite song at the moment to run to is "4 Minutes", the new Madonna song.
Whether you're going for a nice long walk, lifting weights, doing crunches, or other exercises, what is your favorite song to workout to?

I do Turbo Kick at the gym and we do it to up-to-date popular hip/hop.
When in spin classes, we like Cotton Eyed Joe, I will Survive, Crazy Train - dance mix, Total Eclipse of the heart - dance mix and many other dance mixes.
When I am on the treadmill, I like to watch tv but NOT news shows.....shows like Oprah or Tyra or Judge Mabelene or Wife Swap are good. I have a very short attention span and think that the treadmill is B O R I N G so I HAVE to make it fun and interesting.
When I am on the stairclimber, I like hard loud rock and roll like Ozzy or Van Halen or something to make me climb.
My gym has a bad habit of playing late 80's-90's hip hop. While I don't mind those songs, it' s a little weird to workout to.
but I do sometime like to workout to classical
I also like to move to Etta James, Steely Dan, and don't ask me why, but (this is embarrassing) Basia. Anything high energy that reminds me how much I enjoyed being in shape back in the day.
My favourite songs to dance to/workout to right now are Heaven by DJ Sammy and Pretty Rave Girl by I Am X-Ray. In terms of other fun, upbeat songs to dance around my room to are Nine In the Afternoon by Panic! At the Disco, A Stueckl Heile Welt by German rock band Silbermond, and Blue Monday (the cover by Orgy better lends itself to a workout).
