I think this picture of the white and yellow mums is the best photo I have taken...

these are some other pictures I took or the same bunch or mums....

I liked these because of the red on the tips of the yellow mums....

just some more views of the same plant....when I hit fix color on my editing program it changed the red to a purplish color....

I really love this color, they are so pretty......

and these are really pretty too......

and these are the rest of the photos I took for this article....but beware.....I have lots more, so stay tuned to part 2 coming soon........

I thought those were mums but I wasn't sure. All these people around me keep talking about buying mums and having mums and I thought I knew what they looked like but wasn't 100% certain. They are quite pretty. Weird me, I prefer green plants to ones with blooms. But if they are one of the only ones that blooms in the fall, they would be worth picking up! It seems they are pretty self-sufficient too. I notice that no one was out trying to make theirs look nice- it just kind of happened.

all I can think is it must be the hippie influence on my younger life that has given me an appreciation for the beauty of flowers, and as most have or are working on fading away for the season, the mums are just now going to full bloom..........

yes Kevin a little itsey bitsey keychain camera....it only takes 20 pictures at a time....thank goodness I get out a lot.........I picked the best of at least 100 pictures..........

Brad, we have flowers galore in Nebraska...........unless you live in the new housing editions where they destroyed all of the good soil.(like Millard)---they have to haul in good dirt to be able to grow pretty stuff in places like that ..........
