Cheery cherry red seemed the right place to start with our little parade...

Sit back and watch the parade go by!

These flowers are all from my garden at the Blue Belle Inn...

And as you'll see... Some are spring flowers...

Some, like the next one, you might find in a salad one day...

Some are very exotic...

Some, very commonplace...

Some are quite showy...

And others, more modest.

Some like sunshine...

Some seek out shadier spots...

Some come back, year after year...

Others are here for a season, then gone...

Some look very unique, at least to me!

Some captivate me so thoroughly that I dream of them at night...

Some are cousins, closely related...

Some shine with billiant hues...

.... and like to be in the limelight.

Some are nothing special (except to me...)

Some settled in my yard of their own accord.

Others, I hand-picked and planted myself.

Some have lived here many years before I came to town.

Others are the new kids on the block.

Some are pretty because of where they're planted...

Others, in spite of where they happen to be.

Some are practically hidden in the sometimes jungle of an overgrown flowerbed.

Some have a specially reserved seat along my garden path.

Some multiply with every year that goes by...

Some spread like wildfire!

Others have to be nursed along.

Some fade away when the weather gets too hot.

Some visit only once a year, in early spring.

Some stay all summer.

Some save it all for a mid-summer debut!

Some bloom day after day like clockwork.

Whether common or just stunning...
I love all my flowers...

Each and every sweet hue...

Each and every tender petal.

My garden isn't perfect...

But it's perfect for me!
