Come Take A Walk With Me (Photo Essay)

It was a really nice day out yesterday, so Mommy and I decided we would take the kids and take a walk down the bike path.

It looks really inviting, doesn't it? Why don't you come along with us?

There were a bunch of really pretty flowers lining the path:

On the left side of the path, there was a little stream running along and there were a bunch of little fish swimming around in it and playing. Couldn't take their picture, but I did get a video that I'll post later. :)

On the right side, there was a bit of a stagnant swampy stream that seperated the bike path from the houses beyond it. Growing along the stream were some ferns that I thought were really interesting-looking.

And, of course, what would be a swampy area with the cattails?

There were also some very interesting trees lining the path, too. This was one of our favorites because of all the vines that had grown up its trunk over the years.

During the walk, the bikepath crosses over a road, so I took my cousin's hand and led her across. Well, apparently, this meant to my sister that she was supposed to be holding my hand, too, so she waved her hand from the stroller until I gave her mine and then she proceeded to walk me along the rest of the path.

Oh, and look right up there. See that birch that is kind of tilted over the path in an arc?
