The severe weather prediction had omnimous clouds threatning the skies, and changing quickly. It was a worthwhile chance to hit the beach for a photo shoot.
Black and white, presented in color. Clouds roll across the sky.
Looking to the West the sun is still high in the sky.
Cloud patterns form in front of the setting sun.
The clouds are illuminated and outlined by the sun, and a perfect hole for the rays to shine through.
The black clouds pass overhead and bring a drenching rain, sending people scurrying for cover. Not the most spectacular photo of the decade, but this is the first time to see a sunset in a rainstorm. From inside the car, these are the raindrops sheeting against the windshield as the sun continues its downward journey.
The storm was brief, and here is the colorful sunset after the rains.
It was an unusual evening for a Lake Michigan sunset today.
