Birds on the Beach

The beach was filled with birds, when we went to our local beach this Sunday. I love them, until they come and grab food out of my hand and all their friends follow. I've had a scare or two when there are a bunch of them after my lunch.

We throw crumbs by someone elses blanket so the pests go away.

Thanks everyone, they were really interesting to study, and fortunately they stayed away from our blanket:)

There was one lady there sunbathing though, and the birds were right next to her:)

Great photos! I love how the birds stand so still and let the winds from the ocean ruffle their feathers a bit. My favorite picture is the first one in the article, the composition is great, and I like the beach umbrella in the background.
