A Dose of Sand, Water & Wind

It has been about two months since the boys and I were last at the beach, and it was so refreshing to get away from all the cars, the construction and the dust in our neighborhood.

I really needed the dose of nature, and the boys were so excited to finally get beach sand between their toes again.

I'm sending warm thoughts to all of you in the north, and I thank you for sharing all your beautiful snow photos. We don't have any snow to share, but we did find some beauty at the beach.

Great photo essay. Its pretty chilly in East Texas but it looks like it should be warming up tomorrow. I wish I could have gone to the beach today though. Looks like it was a gorgeous day.
