St. John is the quiet one and the most untamed with much of the island belonging the National Park Service bequested by the Rockefellar family.

St. Thomas is the bustling of the three islands with a vigorous cruise ship schedule and duty free shopping for tourists. But for those who venture beyond the bargains it is a beautiful and historic place. Home to characters like the pirate Blackbeard who's lookout on the steep hills surrounding the harbor suited his trade quite well.
On the other hand there are plenty of spots to just sit back, take in the view, and relax. Maybe have a rum punch or two and let the tradewinds tousle your hair.

My personal favorite view-

Take in the local wildlife as they roam the swim-up bar and pool.

But don't get too close. Feisty thing isn't it?

Enjoy the brilliant hues of the flora too.

Don't forget to pace yourself, lolling around on the beach is exhausting, but perhaps some watersports

Or a hike along the rocky shore?

Who knows what we'll see...

Yeah, it was very relaxing. Paradise visited.
