We left early Friday morning for our weekend at the beach so we got in by 9:30am. It was a really nice trip. My first photo, however, is from Thursday night. The sunset as we were packing up the van was just beautiful.

We stopped at a viewpoint and this was the view.

We stopped in Cannon Beach first to take a walk on the beach. It was really foggy but we enjoyed the walk anyway. My son Micah:

Sandy beach feet!

After our walk on the beach, we drove over to the campground in Nehalem Bay State Park. One of the first things the kids did was go for a bike ride with their grandparents down to the bay while we set up the campsite.

Then we walked back down to the beach. Loralei posed with some grass and sand for me.

Micah told me not to take pictures of him, he was going to play. Take pictures of baby. Then he ran down to the ocean to chase waves with his brothers and grandparents.

Lola thought sand might taste good, but discovered she was very, very wrong. And things got worse when mommy thought it would be better to take pictures first and wipe sand up second. lol!

That pretty much sums up our first day of camping. I have more photos to edit so keep watch!
