No. Thank you for your rather simplistic view and explanation, but could you now explain how the algorithm works that awards points per activity; i.e, how muc you're awarded for viewing versus how much you're awarded for being viewed.
Then there are points awarded for publishing to a group you own, groups you don't, being featured. In short, there are a lot of factors involved in amassing Gather points.
But hey -- good luck. Don't let me rain on you little parade.
Absolutely not.
Now for everything else you said, Donald needed to have 2300 points total since July 1st by the end of the day in order to stay on track. He only needed an extra 460, which is actually quite doable.
I try to encourage anyone that is trying to make the cash option to set a goal of earning 100 points a day. Since yesterday was the 23rd, Donald needed 2300 total points for the month to stay on track with his goal. See? I'm not so bad at math after all :).
I'm sure you weren't trying to be rude, you were just confused, and it's partly my fault as I didn't realize that I typed June instead of July. Anyway, I hope you understand what I meant now that I have tried to explain.
