Since it has been a while since my last garden photo essay I thought I would show you what is currently in bloom in my yard. I've even add a few "extras" for your viewing pleasure.
Coronation Gold Yarrow
A small spider that made a web on my deck.
My first Canna Lily bloom of the summer
The Bee Balm has started blooming. Hummingbirds and butterflies love these flowers.
Trumpet Vine that is slowly taking over some of the smaller trees along the edge of the wooded buffer.
My neighbors kitty that is STILL visiting my yard.
Some of the Sunflowers are now in full bloom.
The Sedum "Autumn Joy" is starting to bloom.
Lantana and Russian Sage are coming into color.
All of my Lavender plants are in full bloom.
The Lotus foliage standing at attention. Hopefully I will start seeing buds soon!
Come back soon, there will be much more to see in my garden this summer.

I do to Vivian. It is one of those plants where the foliage is as pretty as the flower itself.

I planted a Canna bulb this year but all I have are leaves. Your garden is beautiful Kat! I like the bee balm I don't have any of them, they are pretty.

Pretty shots and stuff. Did the sunflower seeds we got at the ABC sprout at all?
They were the only ones I planted that sprouted. They each had four leaves one day and nothing but stems the next. I was not happy!
Your photos are fabulous. That "small" spider does not look so little when you use the zoom feature. He's beautiful, but spiders are spooky. You're certainly surrounded by nature's beauty...........cat included!

Oh I am finally able to comment! Kat, that "Autumn Joy" - what is that? I've never heard of Sedum before. I need to look it up I guess. I honestly think you should take that photo, blow it up and frame it, and sell it. Its gorgeous... the sunflower too, wow, took my breath away! {{{HUGS}}}
