A different view, a rainbow of different colors for every season, every week, every day.

At the Blue Belle Inn, the first blooms of spring have faded.

The splendor of early summer is starting to parade past our windows.

The flowering almond bush in front of the cottage has a few pretty blooms...

The lilacs look and smell delightful...

and every bush and growing thing has sprung to life.

There are trees blooming in every corner, in every shade of white, pink, and rose...

The garage at Anne's House of Dreams is adorned in spring finery.

Even the old carriage house look pretty...

This bird house for martins appears to be unoccupied, and is technically in my neighbor's back yard.

There are some rare pink lily of the valley blossoming by the back door of the Blue Belle.

And ferns are unfurling their fronds in each and every shady spot.

This gnarly old crab apple tree was in everyone's way when we renovated Anne's House of Dreams two years ago. They tried to talk me into cutting it down. I'm so glad I was stubborn and wouldn't let them do it!

A very unique peony blossoms by the front door of the cottage, a memory of the previous owner, who planted it for generations that followed to enjoy.

I hope you've enjoyed another stroll through my yard. To see what early spring looked like at the Blue Belle Inn, please visit the original Beauty in My Own Backyard. Next time, we'll see what summer has in store...

I've never seen a pink lily-of-the valley. Beautiful.
Love your house and the B&B and that last pic of the peony, stunning. You chose just the right colors to bring out the beauty of your place.
If I'm ever in the neighborhood...
Blessings to you and yours always, Sherrie... thank you for your nice comments...
