I have a pair of cardinals that frequent my feeders daily, even through the winter. Usually one of them will be perched nearby and acts as a lookout while the other one feeds, and then they alternate. This morning though, both of them were on the feeder and the male was feeding the female. That is part of their courtship routine, so with luck I'll see them feeding their babies at the feeder later this spring. I wished I could have gotten a picture of them on the feeder together, but maybe I'll have luck later and get a picture of them with their young.
