Democrats take no nonsense from ANYBODY! Including other dems, which is the individual way, not mob mentality. Good for them/us!

Subject: No Rewards for Blocking Health Care Reform

Hi,

MoveOn members just pledged over $3.5 million to help a primary challenger take on any Democrat who helps Republicans block a vote on health care reform.

Now, we're joining members of Democracy for America to up the pressure. There's an open letter to the Democratic Caucus asking them to strip any Democrat who filibusters health care reform of his or her committee chairmanship.

Quite right! I just was making the point that Democrats aren't afraid to satnd alone and sanction their own. if anyone wants to sign, great, but the point was just the open-mind policy.

As long as this doesn't become a ideological fight. That's what the Republicans are doing to themselves. It's one thing to enforce party discipline and another entirely to force adherence exclusively to one approach.

I am all for healthcare reform, but these bills that are being pushed are not it. Sorry, but that's the truth. The situation has become to be this: A lot of desperate people having been tricked into jumping up and down, and intensly demanding and begging for, and fighting for DOO-DOO! That's what these bills are, with the exception of Dennis Kucinch's HR676, and it has been stripped from these bills too, and included is the mandate for us suckers to buy these turds, and then think, WE'VE WON!!!
