Large FDA Recall on Diet Pills

While checking the newswires for article ideas, for my green blog. I came across some other info., which I thought should be shared with my fellow Gatherers, especially with New Years's resolutions, just around the corner.

The FDA recalled quite a list of diet pills this week and with all the festivities, I figure this probably slipped by unnoticed by many people. The reason for the recall "they contain undeclared, active pharmaceutical ingredients that may put consumers' health at risk."

Here is the list of recalled over the counter drugs, I got off the FDA website:

The reasoning seemed rather unspecific to me, but I just wanted everyone to have a heads-up anyway.

Diet pills don't work, and it is almost inevitable that they will end up on a recall list. When will people learn?

Diet pills don't work, but lots of people still try them. It's good for them to know all they can about them before they do.
