In all fairness, I'd say it was a draw. This is the first time I saw sincerity in Biden. I have always seen this quality in Palin.
So, I must in fairness, state, "I think the Democrats win on the economy, God forgive me, and the Republicans win on security."
So, what is most important to you this election? Do you agree?
I am still voting for McCain / Palin because I think the economy is important but what good is an economy if we don't have a country?
Just me, and I respect your opinion except Stupidman's because he's just rude and contentious.

I am not a big fan of Obama, but I like Biden. I'm voting for Biden.
I think he won, he was calm, he was clear and seemed to really feel what he said. She reminds me of those moms I hate. They judge other moms who aren't on the PTO.
I think we are all swayed by who we want to win.
ahhhhh fear mongering...works every time
You know Barbara, that's an excellent perspective. And being hit by terrorists, even off the American mainland, will effect our economy. What would another hit on American soil do? Obama is not strong on foreign policy, McCain is strong on foreign policy. Works for me.
We have to stop looking at the surface and dig a little deeper.Anyone who had been prepared on certain subject could have said what she said.As for her own opinion she had very little.
As for sincerity, if you believe that , then you do not understand some people are able to believe their own lies. she knows how to win in politics but she has no integrity as a person, neither the conviction to develop an opinion, she just follows the puppet master.
How shallow can we be in electing such a person,... regardless of party.
It's one thing to have a country, it's a better thing to have a country of quality. That's what Obama and Biden will lead us to achieve.
Still voting McCain/Palin.
He is a lot of things but he is not a hero anymore...just a liar like the rest of them, the neocon who have ruined this country.
Biden was sincere and showed his foreign policy knowledge. I was undecided before tonight's debate. I'm not now. I'll be voting for Obama/Biden.
Do some reading and stop the warmongering, it has been the failed foreign policy we have had that brought us here, not to mention the failed banking regulation.
good night
The polls are in however.

Before or After. She did not move anything. MoE 4%
Well, since Congress approved the war, I think there were many who voted for the war. How is he in any position to veto the bailout bill?
for a WEEK the 'media' have been spinning Palin as a drooling idiot... she BROKE that mold tonight.. Biden just held his ground and scored a few points. the idiot media will have DIFFICULTY portraying her as someone who "freezes" is "uneducated" (screw haaaavarrrd), or "vacuous" NOW.
Sorry you feel that way. An opinion is just that...an opinion.
But he cant run for VP his bedtime is 8:30 with no exceptions.
Because Palin came off better than she was expected to; I personally give her the W.
And I give kudos to Ms. Gwen Ifel who I never seen before tonight but spent the better part of the day exclaiming she had no right being moderator because she would be noticeably partisan. She wasn't and I apologize.
McCain/Palin is my choice. But that was my choice prior to the debate and I do not think this debate changed more than a few minds. However, it may have swung more uncommitted to the McCain/Palin ticket.
Good night & God Bless
Wassila sounds like a place in a foreign country.
Scranton, Pa and Willmington, Delaware people can relate too. I think the McCain camp understimates the fact that Alaska is this place far away from the 48 states that most Americans never got to visit in their entire lives. I would be interested in a poll that measures the number of Americans (other than Alaskans of course) who visited Alaska vs. Europe.
Agree there, 100%. For most people, that in itself is worth a W. Not for an Obama supporter of course. We go dig for things and go on and criticize. What else is new. Bottom line, she is no dummy.
However you go to those answers and find things to respectfully debate about.
So she won over the conservatives because she didn't look quizically at the moderator while crickets chirped. But since her task had been moved from persuading democrats and independents, to convincing her own party that she isn't a simpleton, she lost. And worse yet for the GOP, they walk away thinking they won because they quelled the GOP revolt.
This was like a football team losing 56-0 and deciding in the 4th quarter that they were not going to be shut out. So they kicked a field goal with 4 seconds left, lost 56-3 and called it a win. All she did was to convince the members of her party not to throw her off of the bus.
>>>I think that no matter who wins, Palin should be the vice president!<<<<br>
I agree Dan, that would save a ton of money. Keep that woma as permanent VP and you could eliminate the entire Presidential Secret Service detail. NO ONE would hurt who ever was President with the specter of Simpleton Sarah looming over the country.
"It is better to remain silent and have everyone think you an embicile than to open your mouth and remove all doubt."
She sounded like a parrot.
I enjoyed reading each and every comment. I used one comment here to point out what the problem is in America. When someone uses name calling to make a point, it shows me a true lack of wit. It vexes me at a time in our country when opinions are so important and intelligent voting is paramount. Maybe, Alexander Hamilton was right when he said that only intelligent folk should vote.
