I've lost 18 pounds in Three months. Pretty good. But, I've stalled. The last ten pounds are stagnating. I make a little progress and go back a little. I've heard the last ten pounds are the toughest.
I exercise about an hour and fifteen minutes a day. I do Yoga, Strength training, and mostly aerobics. If I have anything left, I swim or take a walk. I don't eat much.
Example: Yesterday, I ate breakfast and a light dinner. That's it. I lost a pound. Now, the grand kids are here for the week. They ate and ate all night.
I wasn't tempted, but I am scared I'll fall off the wagon sometime this week, and I'm too close to making my goal. (I set small goals at a time.)
Any words of encouragement? I will do this. I am motivated, but would sure like some help if you have any.
I've gotten some the best advice from my Gather friends, and thank you in advance.

Another thing that could be slowing you down, is sodium. I have no idea how much sodium you eat, but I know that when I started really watching it closely at my house, my husband lost 10 lbs without doing anything else differently. He still ate a bunch of junk in between meals, and most of the meals I cook still pack about as many calories, carbs, fats, etc, they just don't have the sodium.
If you use these equations
For sedentary people: Weight x 14 = estimated cal/day
For moderately active people: Weight x 17 = estimated cal/day
For active people: Weight x 20 = estimated cal/day
and subtract 500 from the result that's how many calories you should eat in a day to lose 1 lb a week. I think.. if I'm remembering correctly. LOL :O)
Great job!
Keep that chin up, and fight temptation!
