Do not be disturbed by the crimson flow around her feet
It is not as bad as you might think
Walking on eggshells
tip toeing on broken glass
Both of these shall lead to hell
the kind of place where no one belongs
and yet she found herself lost
Struggling to break free from the known
bursting into the realm of her own
Lost identities all around
floating aimlessly through this place
Shattered souls and fragments of people
abound and enshroud us
Will there ever be a path to light?
Who deciphers wrong from right?
Further on in the distance
one can see the glimmer of hope
The girl drifts into an endless dream
she feels calm - finally serene
Notice those shards of hope lying on the ground
the proof that pain no longer runs through her corpse
Sometimes it is better to watch it end than
to see someone walking in the darkness
Never searching for light
Not to be found
* This was a sad piece about a friend years ago- I am not advocating suicide only tried to deal with that pain of losing a friend. (Written in 2004.) No one could help her- but herself. I did hope that she would come through it- couldn't help her live. Peace to all.

And well said, Judi.
People don't realize how important the WORDS we speak into other's lives are... how powerful PRAYER is, and interceding on behalf of others...
You have a way with words.
I'm sorry for the loss of your friend. It's hard to lose a friend like that. :(
Losing someone makes you empty. You have to fill up that hole somehow.
Beautiful!
