Flashback- child of the 80s

Hello, fellow gatherers,

    This was just for fun. I loved the 80s. Big hair, ripped jeans, neon clothes, gummie band bracelets, side pony tails, crazy music, punk, roller skating, people seemed to enjoy life more openly.

 

What do you like or remember from the 80s? Music, TV, pop culture, please share.

 

I loved She-ra, Thundercats, Fraggle Rock, ALF, A - team, Mr. T (Happy Birthday). I practically lived in Wonder Woman underroos (around my house). We had dance parties, punk rock makeovers, skated till we couldn't any more. The Bangles, Janet Jackson, Bon Jovi, Poison, Madonna, Prince. So much fun and people wore spandex. Hilarious to think of that now. Flashdance- flash backs...Have a stellar evening.

Actually, I have done a few 80's parties and they're always fun. The best thing is that anyone can dance to 80's music even if you can't dance.

Definitely Fraggle Rock...in fact, I have the first two seasons on DVD and watch them when I need something to make me smile.

This was good....I graduated in '80, and it was a fun time. I dressed my girls in the leggings, and put all beads and lace on them...they remember watching Fraggle Rock and MTV when it was still "clean". They were our little Madonna and Paula Abdul!! It was fun. Thanks for the reminiscence.
