It is really annoying to spend an entire day with someone who is always in a rush. I do not understand this. What does it matter if you arrive 15 minutes, 5 minutes, 2 minutes earlier? What can not wait these few more moments. When I think about our lives as a whole combination of these blocks of time every single day... all day long- it really bothers me.
As Americans, people are pushing us since childhood. Hurry up and walk, talk, read, grow, learn, go, move, graduate, etc. What is the Rush? Does it mean we are less of a human being because we want to stop and enjoy the moment in time- right now? Honestly, when is the last time you saw someone sit down, talk, listen, breathe, and enjoy life?
I can not remember the last time someone walked up to me, asked me how I was doing and actually stayed the extra thirty seconds to hear the answer.
This is not just a useless rant. It is a serious problem that impedes our lives, our health, and our relationships. Think of the things we rush through- bedtime stories, dinner, naps, paper work, newspaper, talking on the phone. We are missing these truly precious moments of peace and rushing our happiness.
Just check out these options for how to stop hurrying.

I like a more relaxed pace myself.
I guess it really depends on people, some are in rush, some enjoy their lifes.
