Haiku-33
tears in my eyes
sun floats in a sea of salt
that roars inside.

To Dawn
A garden of herbs can be your simile,
I am picking up, by my gloved hands,
your sincere aroma, your goodness.
Friend, look how much I am bemused by the beauty
of the memory of last night’s rain on you,
on your verdant leaves. I cannot become you,
capable of the photosynthesis. Still
I can take your gift of the herbal novelty

The haiku is so incisive. It expresses emotion of pain that surpasses words.

Poddar, I am sorry, but my computer time is limited here at my daughter's. I know my comments are inconsistent, however by the end of next week my life will return to normal.
Thanks for posting to The Surreal Circus.
Thanks for posting to my group, Anythingwriting
Your second poetic piece is a beautiful TRIBUTE to Poet Dawn. It is however, not a Snippet by our definition of "30" words or less. You can do a Snippets Edit on it, and resubmit it separately as a Snippet if you like. If you want The Snippets Crew to help you on the Snippets Edit, let us know.
