He thought he was touched by healing God,

others smiled, it had been medicine.

In his mental haze closed eyes could guess

Granny's unfinished self-portrait

was alive, finishing itself.

I am a welded metal sculptor and make miniature cartoon figures. At art shows some people ask me, "Do I make them myself?" My reply is, "No, I made the first two and now they build the others."
