Computations
Sky is hovering over
a cup full of soul.
Sitting on a pavement
she takes a sip from
the tea stall owner's mercy.
Her nectar.
Then
she has a brawl with god.
A piece of bread.
She is bargaining for that.
Hard.
And she knows it will be
coming too.
She will live.
Perhaps forever.
Sky is hovering over
her belly.
"Eh! Crazy, are you
going family way?"
"none of your business"
she curses without conviction.

She is the neighborhood crazy woman on the pavement, living a true Zen life and carrying one too.

Good irony are the 'zen' web sites, whoring books and products we can buy to help us learn how to not want the books and products they're whoring.
Personally, I like the flesh I drag around. I'll step off the flesh wheel after I die, not before.
Indeed. Which is one of the difficulties with the 'true zen reality.'
live and pray for mercy
Thank you for this focus on a poor woman.
Happy New Year, Poddar.
Thank you for sharing.

Thanks for posting in Journey Into Poetry !
I just wanted to stop by since I am finally going through what is now listed as under 4,000 pieces of gather new mail that is sitting in my inbox on here.
With that mentioned I just came across either a mailing from you yourself, or someone else brought this piece to my attention. You or they felt that your creation should be shared with the gather community, which I am very glad that it was passed on to me to view. So I wanted to say Thank you for taking the time out of your busy day to publish it here on gather for us to all view. :o)
As well before I leave you I wanted to wish you a Happy New Year... in 2009 :o)
