keep hundreds of windows, or tabs open so you can (easily) return and answer comments. You can try using the tab system on your home-page (good luck there), you can try searching through your own endless comments on your comments pages, (you'll get tired of that soon enough)OR:
You can start a temp folder in your browser favorites, call it "Current Reads" and every time you come across something you think there's a chance you'll return to, bookmark it into your "Current Reads" Folder...
It makes Gather.com a much more organized experience and you tend to actually get back to things of interests to you, instead of always wondering where they were and why there nothing going on...

I rotate five or six topics through my "Current Reads" folder each day then clear them out in the morning ready for the new day.
It has improved my consistency and there are never blank spots where I am searching around for something to read...
I`ll still have to get use to that if I try it....
Knowing me I`ll probly end up evitaly doing just that...
Thanx Robin for the tip.......
Good Info!
Good or bad experiences? Thanks.

I'm sorry I should have pointed that out in my article that this is not about your stuff but the stuff of others that you read...
I do not need to put my articles in my "Current Reads" folder because I get emails but I do need to put your articles in the folder so I can easily find them again to stay up with the conversation...
I actually just emptied my 'favorites' on Internet Explorer of everything except a Gather folder. Now I can save all my Gathers more easily. I never use it. I have a folder on my desk top with 20 folders in it. I save every interesting site to my desktop and sort into one of the folders all hidden in the one main folder. I think this will work. Thanks for suggestion.
I have more than once asked Gather for a better automated way, they say they are working on it ... there may well already be one, but there is much that I am unaware of about the workings of Gather ... I only wish I had some of your talents along these lines.
I still use "del.icio.us" since Gather had it a long time ago.
Thanks.
