As I woke this morning, in that half conscious dreamy state I had what I can only call a Data Dump Dream. The whole scenario played out NOT in linear time, but all at once. I was starkly aware of how alien our world really is, even to us if we think about it. I was 100 years hence looking at the world as if from space. I saw it as it will be when every one now living is gone and a completely new bunch of complete strangers is inhabiting our homes, our jobs and our very lives.
These strangers had new social and political structures, new laws and a completely different moral code. Their societies were still struggling with many of the issues we face today but the people acted as though they would be around forever, much as we do.
I wonder if any of them saw me?
It wasn't happy or sad, it just felt like a fact...
I don't know if this qualifies as a dream but it was certainly vivid and not the sort of thing that comes to me in my waking life...

It's slipping away from me now but the feeling I'm left with is, of how original we all believe we are... I want to laugh at it because I saw it in both time frames, us thinking how very cool and modern we are and the future strangers thinking how cool and modern they are.
From where I was looking, all that thinking was based on the lie that we humans spin to themselves that we will be around forever and that we are in the ultimate human evolutionary cycle.
The social problems and isolation that is a growing part of our "way of life" obviously belie these assumptions.
We all can play a part in making the world a better place, starting here. Starting now. Life is good.
The truth about our uniqueness is that to one degree or another we ALL share it, we have the unique ability to translate Universal Love.
So, Alison your talent for the violin is the way you have found to translate Love into the world. Have you noticed that we find talents that are sold or exchanged unattractive or less valuable than those that are freely given. Love cannot be sold and remain ItSelf, Love is beyond exchange, it is in the realm of God.
If you see your talents as merely your way to bring more Love to the situations in your life then they serve a mighty purpose, but they are just a means to an end, the truth that radiates is ALWAYS the Love that underlies the talent!
