Being a lefty made me much more effective as a little-league pitcher! (Beyond that, well... it's kinda iffy.) We have had several other lefties in the Oval Office, by the way. In fact, I believe that lefties are disproportionately represented at over 20%.

Recent research suggests people who are left-handed may actually be able to use both hands equally as well, unlike those who are only right-handed. Also, there is some research that suggests left-handed people may be "gifted" or "highly intelligent." I know it use to be that a left-handed child was made to use the right hand, but nowadays with so much research indicating this is not a curse, but actually something so different from other people, it could mean a multitude of positive qualities. For one thing if a person can use both hands that means they have access to both sides of the brain equally as well. Everyone knows there are certain things on each side of the brain, like reading ability, musical ability, etc. on one side of the brain and other important assets on the other side of the brain. A person able to use both sides of the brain may be gifted and possess assets so much more than those only able to use one side of the brain.
Watch and see if Obama can use his right hand before you make a final judgment.

I am left-handed, and able to use my right hand as well. I am suited for many different types of occupations, abilities and such. Both sides of my brain operate equally as well.

No, no, Rory, that's not how you do it. You never admit you're going to put people in concentration camps--there are always some sensitive souls on your side who'll get upset or something. My uncle is left-handed and when he was a kid, they did the whole deal trying to teach him to be right handed, but when he wrote with his right hand everything came out as a mirrored version of itself. Weird.
