Oh, my love!
How I hunger
for your honey lips,
forbidden nectar,
sweet rapture
engulfing me,
inflaming me
with a fire
that only you
can put out.
We traveled so far,
shared precious moments.
Now, we are back
to the place of longing,
where there is
more shadow than sun.
Still the memory lingers,
surrounding me
with all that you are,
all that we were.
I can see you in the distance
calling to me,
and I know
I will hold you again.
