If I'd died while you still loved me,
Then I would never know the pain
of watching you walk away
and being all alone again.
If I'd died in the beginning,
before I memorized your face,
then I wouldn't be a lost soul
tumbling through time and space.
If I'd died before I met you,
before I stumbled into bliss,
Then my heart would not be broken
And I wouldn't feel like this.
Yet pain has it's purpose
And I'd do it all again.
I can't regret the day I met you
Because I'd never lived 'til then.
