Someone on Gather mentioned doing a book swap, did anything ever come of that

Several months ago there was a gather member who was thinking of doing a book swap where we would give and get books to other members, and when we were done reading them we would repost it for another swap.

the reason I ask is I have a copy of Grisham's appeal, and I was wondering if there was anyone out there that would be interested in the book (postage of a book is cheaper than buying it)

My book is in good condition a few pages corners are bent from shuffling around from drawer to drawer.

It wasn't a book I got into, and listing it or trying to sell it would end up taking up more in fees than it would take to just mail it to someone.

The only thing I would ask is that you pass it on when you are done reading it.  Media Mail postage should be less than 3.00 I can get it into a padded envelope....

I won't be able to check  my mail or responses until later tomorrow

Did the book swap ever come to anything or was it just and idea?
