This was sent to me in an email. Here is a most interesting article--it has me in a quandry!

About a year ago I would have voted for Obama. I have changed my mind three times since than. I watch all the news channels, jumping from one to another. I must say this drives my husband crazy. But, I feel if you view MSNBC, CNN, and Fox News, you might get some middle ground to work with. About six months ago, I started thinking 'where did the money come from for Obama'. I have four daughters who went to College, and we were middle class, and money was tight. We (including my girls) worked hard and there were lots of student loans.
I started looking into Obama's life.
Around 1979 Obama started college at Occidental in California . He is very open about his two years at Occidental, he tried all kinds of drugs and was wasting his time but, even though he had a brilliant mind, did not apply himself to his studies. 'Barry' (that was the name he used all his life) during this time had two roommates, Muhammad Hasan Chandoo and Wahid Hamid, both from Pakistan . During the summer of 1981, after his second year in college, he made a 'round the world' trip. Stopping to see his mother in Indonesia , next Hyderabad in India , three weeks in Karachi , Pakistan where he stayed with his roommate's family, then off to Africa to visit his father's family. My question - Where did he get the money for this trip? Nether I, nor any one of my children would have had money for a trip like this when they where in college. When he came back he started school at Columbia University in New York . It is at this time he wants everyone to call
him Barack - not Barry. Do you know what the tuition is at Columbia ? It's not cheap to say the least! Where did he get money for tuition? Student Loans? Maybe... After Columbia , he went to Chicago to work as a Community Organizer for $12,000 a year. Why Chicago ? Why not New York ? He was already living in New York .
By 'chance' he met Antoin 'Tony' Rezko, born in Aleppo Syria , and a real estate developer in Chicago . Rezko has been convicted of fraud and bribery this year. Rezko, was named 'Entrepreneur of the Decade' by the Arab-American Business and Professional Association'. About two years later, Obama entered Harvard Law School . Do you have any idea what tuition is for Harvard Law School ? Where did he get the money for Law School ? More student loans? After Law school, he went back to Chicago . Rezko offered him a job, which he turned down. But, he did take a job with Davis, Miner, Barnhill & Galland. Guess what? They represented 'Rezar' which is Rezko's firm. Rezko was one of Obama's first major financial contributors when he ran for office in Chicago . In 2003, Rezko threw an early fundraiser for Obama which Chicago Tribune reporter David Mendelland claims was instrumental in providing Obama with 'seed money' for his U.S. Senate race. In 2005, Obama
purchased a new home in Kenwoood District of Chicago for $1.65 million (less than asking price). With ALL those Student Loans - Where did he get the money for the property? On the same day Rezko's wife, Rita, purchased the adjoining empty lot for full price. The London Times reported that Nadhmi Auchi, an Iraqi-born Billionaire loaned Rezko $3.5 million three weeks before Obama's new home was purchased. Obama met Nadhmi Auchi many times with Rezko.
Now, we have Obama running for President. Valerie Jarrett, was Michele Obama's boss. She is now Obama's chief advisor and he does not make any major decisions without talking to her first. Where was Jarrett born? Ready for this? Shiraz , Iran ! Do we see a pattern here? Or am I going crazy?
On May 10, 2008 The Times reported, Robert Malley, advisor to Obama, was 'sacked' after the press found out he was having regular contacts with 'Hamas', which controls Gaza and is connected with Iran . This past week, buried in the back part of the papers, Iraqi newspapers reported that during Obama's visit to Iraq, he asked their leaders to do nothing about the war until after he is elected, and he will 'Take care of things'.
Oh, and by the way, remember the college roommates that where born in Pakistan ? They are in charge of all those 'small' Internet campaign contributions for Obama. Where is that money coming from? The poor and middle class in this country? Or could it be from the Middle East ?
And the final bit of news. On September 7, 2008 , The Washington Times posted a verbal slip that was made on 'This Week' with George Stephanapoulos. Obama on talking about his religion said, 'My Muslim faith'. When questioned, 'he made a mistake'... Some mistake!

I wish the Democrats had chosen Hillary. She comes with some negatives, but I prefer the Devil I know. That is one reasobn I went to McCain. I don't trust the Republicans with my social security. My savings (investments) are smoke.

For the record, my best friend from sixth grade through college was 1/2 Syrian. I learned to make baklava from her grandmother or "sittee", as she was called. She couldn't speak a word of English. Does that qualify me as a terrorist? No, but I can cuss you out in Syrian, like a pro.

Yes, I checked out where his money came from, He stated on TV that he had student loans. Since I went to college, I know student loans do not pay for everything. I worked a full time job, while I was in school. It was hard.
Let's move on to relevant truths. He is Christian, not Muslim. He is not going to turn us into a Muslim nation.
Now let's talk about what he IS going to do, like help heal some of the gaping wounds left from the Bush Administration. And for the record, the election is not getting "close." Obama is going to win.
For college tuition Obama took out loans, very commonly done. Making loans to people who have been accepted to Columbia and the Harvard Law School is a pretty smart thing to do because the graduates of those institutions do very well and can pay substantial amounts after getting work. Also, the federal government provided backing for those loans so the risk to the lender is minimal.
In other words there is nothing at all suspicious about any of the actions described in the post. The actions are strikingly similar to the actions of thousands of students in the U.S. every year. It is political propaganda and pretty blatent in its bias.
I am looking more into Obama. I wish we could find out the truth!

One of my best friends in high school went to Harvard on a scholarship. His parents were both piano teachers. They might not have been able to afford to send him to a state college if he hadn't gotten a scholarship.
Lets see now we have a question about where Obama got money to travel when he was 20 yrs old. Ok, he got it from any Arab he met, chineese, Italians and Jews. Now what? So what? How does that affect todays situation? So what if he got all the money he ever got from only Arabs. So what? GWB did too but why aren't you questioining him and he has been president for 8 yrs. You don't see the absurdity here? Especially with Bush tied closely to the Osam Bin Laden family? Why can't you just be real and honest with us and your self and simply say you don't like the idea that Obama could be president but you don't like it because he is black? There is nothing left. Your arguement or complaints hold no water especially when McCain has lots of pals who are Arabs and or felons or who are doing serious wrong. Can you say Jack Abramoff or air bus contract to France? Can you say Ken Lay or name seven lobbyist on McCain's campaign staff one of which only stopped recieveing cash from Fannie/ Freddie just days prior to the credit crash. While you are trying to be fair please do not forget that Gov. Palin was sleeping (husband) with a man who was for a number of years was a member of a group promoting the seceding of Alaska from the union. But.....you are worried about Obama? How can you not see the sham in your own comments?

Please, instead of posting something which continues the smears, go to HIS website and read HIS policies. It isn't about Socialism. It's about "We the People."

Obama's wife was working and made good money before he finished Harvard and then there were 2 incomes, He said many times they had taken long time to pay the student loans.
Now his book have made more money in 2007 after he was running and I am sure their home may be paid by now.

I think the original premise of ACORN was good, maybe that's when Obama was associated with them he and has since cut off ties with them as well as with Ayers and Rev. Wright. Maybe Obama is just now learning about these people and dissociating himself because he is horrified by what they stand for. I give him credit for being a smart man, I also think he is a good man and could consider voting for him in a few years.
I guess one would consider information slander depending on their bias. For example, is the information about McCain and Keating factual in your mind or could it be considered slander by anyone who is for McCain?
