Just a preview of things to come~

Last night we went next door to feed the neighbors cat. They are gone for a few days, therefore Maddie was given her very first paid job. She was to feed, water, and play with the cat for two nights and she was given ten dollars.

We came home and the kids were restless, so I decided that we would do something fun. We tried on their Halloween costumes to make sure we had everything ready for Halloween night.

                        

Spiderman is ready to go. He is looking fierce as ever and ready to crawl up buildings in a single bound, and save some poor soul from his demise.

                        

               He has got his fighting face on and is ready to battle the world.

                         

       Tinkerbell looks like she has brought a little attitude to the table as well. We still need to get her some white tights so she won't freeze while she is out granting wishes to the folks in need.

             

                      

                      Together, these two can make the world a bettter place.     

                     

                        

With a little pixie dust, some webs, and a few prayers they will be on their magical way on Halloween night 2009.

They are adorable. My son was Spiderman a few years back. He loved that costume and wore it over and over again - even after Halloween.

Aidan has been wearing that Spiderman mask around the house for a month now. He has even asked us to call him Spiderman, and not Aidan. ha ha ha

I'm sure they will have fun too. I just hope it doesn't rain. It's been raining for 2 weeks so I might just need to go and buy some umbrella's.

They look cute. I am excited about Halloween this year!! This is the first year Lily has decided to be something besides a fairy or a princess... she is going as a mouse caught in a mousetrap - homemade costume. It is really cute. I can't wait to get some photos and put them up. LOL

Your kids are so cute! Elliott's best friend is going as Spiderman this year, too. He's been talking about it for weeks.

We went trick or treating today at the hospital, and the kids had a blast. I forgot to take pictures of Elliott in his costume, but I will definitely get that done tomorrow. :)

Dee, she was beaming about her very first job. I told the next door neighbor that she would be happy with a dollar, but she ended up giving Maddie and Aidan five dollars a piece.

Its good to see children learning, the value of a dollar and how to earn. I applaud you as a parent, for giving them the opportunity to learn this. Too many parents today are raising lazy children. And yet they are the first to gripe when they do nothing. Perhaps I'm old fashion when it comes to such, but I have seen with my own children when they were young, what a world of good it does, to teach them things like this. They learn to value what they have, when they are taught such things from an early age.

They are so cute Monica, and I hope they have a great night tonight. It took me a lot of convincing before I got both batman and the ninja in our house to take their costumes off last night. They both wanted to sleep in them:)
