Last night my husband was putting the finishing touches on our taxes. We E-Filed so even though we were cutting it kind of short they would get there on time with 24 hours to spare.
He holored down to me that he needed my drivers license and I holored up the number to him. He then holored down that he needed my weight. I thought I heard him wrong, so I holored back, "WHAT."
Again he yelled down "I need your weight from your drivers license."
I was like, "Oh very funny; since when do you need a weight to file your taxes?"
He told me to come up and look if I did not believe him. I went up and sure enough it had a spot to input your drivers license weight on there. I guess this is for security reasons to make sure it is you who is filing those taxes on line, but honestly weigh? Isn't that a little personal?
First of all I never tell my husband my weight, it is my business he doesn't need to know. This is something I never share with him. So there I was being forced to tell my husband my weight, and apprently everyone at the IRS. Not that they really care, but it is still personal. What will they want to know next my first kiss, my blood type, my menstral cycle?
I don't know if this was a question that everyone has to answer on their taxes or if it was just the particular software my husband was using, but don't you think it is out of line to ask people their weight?
Sorry I just needed to rant about this.
