Do you have a EPSON printer?

I had one which was given to me by a Japanese professor who decided not to take it back to Japan and then, I lent it to a Japanese girl studying at Wayne State University with my daughter and she still has it. I have no need of it.

We have 2 older Epsons. But none of these will work.

I have the Epson Stylus Photo RX620. One of the printing heads is clogged, we have run the cleaners on it three times. My husband found out that this is a common problem on this printer & many Epson's. We'll get a new printer, as soon as we can afford it.

I had 2 Epsons -- a C80 and a C60 -- they both died, too... I liked the quality of prints but they just didn't hold up... THREE TIMES NOW, I've gotten just a little money ahead and went out and bought a couple of extra ink cartridges and then the printer DIED. THREE TIMES!

The last time (the C60) I thought "This is RIDICULOUS" and I took back the cartridges to the ink store where I bought them (even though it had been several months ago and I didn't have the receipt anymore) and asked the lady if she might be willing to trade two for one of the new ones I need (an HP). First, I prefaced by saying "You know me, right? I come in here -- not a LOT but, every couple of months for quite a while now." (She nods "yes".)

She actually took the two Epson cartridges (and black and a tri-color) back, credited me for them and then gave me two HP ones in exchange! Not only THAT, there was a difference of a couple of bucks in price on each of them (the Epsons cost more) that she REFUNDED to me!

I was JAZZED! (You might try it!)
