I am staying home with my husband and kids. I haven't been out for New Year's eve in years. Too many drunks out on the roads.

I'm staying home, hopefully with my son. His Dad is expecting to see him sometime this week, and since he hasn't contacted me yet, I'm assuming I get to keep the little guy for tomorrow night.

We are actually going out this year to a bowling alley only 2 miles from our house. We hang with our friends every New Years since I have known my husband. We started a couple of years ago rotating years with the kids or without kids. It doesn't always work but we try.
We will be bowling until midnight and then stop for a buffet.

I sure hope it is Tamara. We did the bowling thing 4 years ago and had a blast. It really caught on in this small town. One year the sign up was full in 1 hour. WE only have 12 lanes and they put 4 on each. My 17 year old son watches our daughter and there 2 kids, oops now 3!!! We hate to drive too so they crash here and when we go to their house or their area, we spend the night there.

I am locking the gate, the doors and windows up tight and leaving the road to the drunks, hubby and I are spending the night by the fireplace.

I spent the new year at home with the family safe and sound.Thats how i usually do it every year.It was also freezing last night so i was not trying to be out in that weather i enjoyed myself.Happy new year to all!
