Our new Cat.........I'm A SAP

Let me tell you there is NEVER a dull moment around my house, EVER!!!

I have bible study ONE day a month and hell always breaks loose before I have to go, ALWAYS!!!

I get up and of course and gather, coffee and have breakfast.  All in that order. 

I feed my gather addiction for almost 2 hours and decide it's time to make the cookies for the 'brunch'.  Chris had already made 2 main dishes for me.....jumbalaya and a barbeque keilbasa and rice dish that I love.   I was also making cookies and brownies and I made a chocolate pudding pie.  The woman that was hosting it was sick so I volunteered to cook most of the stuff.  This is not a usual occurrance.

Ok so first I set the timer on the cookies and burn them anyway and it was under the time.  I forgot to turn down the oven and I was alerted by the smoke detector...NOT A GOOD START!!

So only a few burned and the rest were salvaged.  I made Oatmeal/chocolate chip cookies from scratch.  The non burnt ones were great....I also made chocolate chip cookies from the tub-0-cookies they sell in the store.  They came out great.  I then made the pudding pie and all was well.

I go shower and when I came out all hell had broken loose.  I had an almost 9 year old boy, my son Jonathan, outside crying and Chris digging up under the built in pool.......My daughter tells me that Jon's cat Callie was stuck under the deck.  It is 20 degrees here and snow on the ground.

I say to my daughter  I bet Callie is sleeping on Zachary's bed where she always is during the day.  Jamie laughs and says no Jon hears Callie crying under the deck.

So I dry my hair and go out.  There is a cat crying and Chris is freezing and sweating at the same time shaking his head. 

Side note: ((He is a dire animal lover and would do anything to save an animal))

So all of a sudden a small small cat comes flying out from under the deck.  We NEVER have any strays around here.  I don't know why but we don't.  So, Jamie hears all this and goes to find her, of course, catches her and brings her in the house.

In the meantime Jon goes to Zach's room and finds Callie sleeping on the bed.

Chris comes in shaking his head.  He says I thought no more animals.  I said I was showering you were the one trying to free Callie and added one more cat to the mix.

LOL  What we do for our kids.  This poor kitty was very hungry and wanted warmth.  She has no tags and is very loving.  They named her Reilly. 

Now we have 3 cats: Reilly, Callie and Ozwald(Jamie's cat) and our dog Chyna.

The rest of my morning didn't go too well...my make up mirror seems to have burnt out, I forgot the Christmas plates I was suppose to bring to the brunch, I forgot the pudding pie, and I also forgot the presents, but we saved a cat and all is well in our world.
