I was reminded of an interesting story yesterday when I went to visit my aunt and cousin yesterday. About 4 years ago, I took my nephew Bryce, who was 5 years old at the time, for a visit to my aunt and uncle's in Jersey. On the way there, I noticed there was a Bryce Street. So I told my nephew there was a street with his name on it and he asked if we could drive on it. I told him we could do that on the way home. It's really weird because I had driven to my uncle's house hundreds of times and I never noticed that street before, but for some reason, that day, I noticed it.
Anyway, as we left, Bryce asked if we could still drive on his street. I said, "absolutely!" As we approached the street, he says to me, "Do you think any of the people on this street believe in me?" It was so touching because he was so serious about it. I have to admit, I chuckled to myself and I had to make sure he didn't hear me. When we drove down the street there was no one out and about. He told me that the street seemed really sad and he wished that it was happier street. I explained to him that it was dinner time and everyone was probably just inside because they were having their dinner. He said, "I hope that's what it is because it would be a shame to have my street be so sad."
