I am posting this to let those who don't like recipes on Gather. To know that Gather allows it. I contacted Gather and Mary Ann got back with me. Below is what she wrote back :
Hi Sandy S, Thank you for contacting the Support Team with your question about site policies. Recipies are very welcome on Gather. There is a Gather "Essential" group called food.gather.com that is one of our most popular groups. I recommend you join the group and publish your recipies to the group. As with all content you publish on Gather, just make sure you are publishing your own original content and that you are not violating anyones copyright. Thanks again for checking in with us. If you have further questions please feel free to contact us again. Best regards, MaryAnne Flynn Director of Member Support maryanne.gather.com
So to those who don't like them or think they don't deserve a ten. Just move on to something you do like. Recipes take alot of time and creativity to come up with from scratch. It is heart felt to share a recipe. Where many woman keep recipes and pass them down from generation to generation.

People have said they do not like recipes on this site. They also state they shouldn't be on here. I am not saying you did or anyone in that article did. But between that article and what others have been saying. It got me thinking. Thats why I contacted Gather and made sure it was okay with them to post recipes.
Many recipes are actually quality writing. Keep doing your reipes and the heck with the low raters and the snobs.

So low-raters can go dive bomb that article. Feel free! You should know however, before you do it...that the points I earn go to gift cards for buying books for the children's shelters in my city.
I'm off to join the group mentioned above: Gather/Food...
Keep posting, people that cook aren't out shooting or carjacking other people~~ Almost guaranteed.
Blessings,
Wilka
