I love Red Skelton. I was a national treasure. I recently posted a poem on Gather entitled"The Parade." What I had in my mind when I wrote it was a Red Skelton sketch that has remained with me all these years later. Thank you so much for this. Have a wonderful July 4th Holiday. /10/

I loved Red and my kids did too. I began showing them his stuff whenever I could. Even though they are not of his generation they loved his humor, they laughed like crazy right along with me.

Red Skeleton was a very wise man and quite talented..

Darn it, I could not get the sound to work on this lap top, I will have to have my husband figure out what is going on, I really wanted to hear that. Maybe I can get it to play on one of my kids computers.

Sorry, Andrea, I got bored listening to this. I am one of those few that don't pledge allegiance to any flag. I love my country, don't get me wrong, I just feel it's my right not to do so.
And, I am not sure how God is coming under attack here.
Religion should only not be taught in school, because of the Constitution's stance that there be a separation of church and state.
It's just too much of a hot button.
Just not everyone agrees about which which "God" they serve. And, it would just be too confusing.
Religion is best taught at home. I have to agree with that.
But, I do not believe that a personal attack on you is warranted either.
So, I hope you are doing fine, and wish you all the best.
May "God" bless you and keep you always.
And, for others who don't believe,
it's their right. And, I for one don't feel sorry for anyone.
I just hope that love shines through and we can just all agree to disagree.
