I had planned on discontinuing the journal at the day care, but something was interesting on Friday, so I will post one more day.
After I dropped her off in the morning, I stayed outside of the room and watched. It was true that she pretty much stopped crying as soon as I walked out of the room.
It was snack time and everyone was being seated to eat yogurt. Kyleigh was sitting on the kiddy chair with the yogurt cup in front of her. However, the teachers were still getting the other kids ready, so no one was feeding Kyleigh yet.
She looked around for a while, and then decided to take the matters into her own hands. She reached out for the spoon that was stuck in the yogurt cup, but couldn't pull it out. She wiggled the spoon left and right to knock it loose.
A teacher noticed it and started feeding her (as well as the kid next to her). I thought she looked ok, so I left.
When my husband picked her up in the evening, he said she was waving and saying "Baa-baa (bye-bye)" to everyone else. I think she is doing better and better.
