Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit's eponymous album will be released on February 17, 2009 on Lightning Rod Records. Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit is Isbell's second solo release
and his first release with his band The 400 Unit. Matt Pence of Centro-Matic serves as co-producer, drummer and engineer.

I absolutely Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit! I saw the guys at the end of December in Chattanooga, Tn at Rhythm and Brews. Jason is such an awesome singer/songwriter, and a really cool guy in general. I hope to see them this weekend in Nashville. I have yet to purchase the new album, but I love Sirens of the Ditch. I did get to hear some of the new songs at the last show I went to, and they're really good. Thanks for the interview!
