A House Divided

There is a house in my neighborhood that is a rental property - I drive by it every day on my way home. One evening I noticed a McCain/Palin sign on the front lawn. The next evening I noticed that in every window of the house there were Obama/Biden signs. I found this pretty entertaining.

My best guess is that the landlord put the sign on the lawn and the tenants put the signs in the window. But, it's possible that there's an even more interesting story...

Family members may disagree on politics. Or perhaps the house owner is undecided. Perhaps he is expressing his opinion, but wants to avoid violence. Some people take partisan politics too seriously.
