I hope restoration or re-building of the Clock tower in Back To The Future can be up again in the near future because that is a beautiful architectural masterpiece with history, no less ! Thanks for the update !

I'm glad you posted a link to this article. I am glad to hear that no one is hurt and that all stuff that got torched can be replaced. That place is a historical site and should be kept perserved.

We were out there in southern Calif. when this was happening ~ it was all over the news stations. I felt especially bad about old King Kong going up in flames. I've seen him a couple of times when I took the backlot tour. That was really just too bad. Very sorry to know all that has gone forever, including the "Back to the Future" set. *sigh*

I heard about the fire that day after it happened. The Clock Tower, some funny scenes filmed there. Such a shame.
