Many times I have disagreed with people who are of the Democrat Party, however there is one member on here who stands head and shoulders above the rest, and I have to say when I have a question, he has pointed out the beliefs of the Party and why they believe that way.
It doesn't mean I agree with him.
But I respect him
He, like so many others, has NEVER resorted to name calling, he doesn't put people down for not being perfect in grammar, or punctuation.
He states his point
And I hope he knows that in spite that I disagree with him, I do respect him as a person, and as a gather Member.
I stand tall and proud as my beliefs as a republican, and I respect him for standing up for what he believes in.
And as much as that, I have seen him respectfully disagree with not only myself, but with many other members, and do so in a way that he doesn't put us down for what we say and believe.
Thank You Lloyd for standing heads and shoulders above the rest and being someone that I can truly agree to disagree with

It's 3:50 AM in the morning and I'm just getting in. I have to say thank you for the kind words.
Many probably won't believe that we have corresponded behind the scenes, but it's true.
We can all agree to disagree without the name calling. I have to say that I've been dishearten by some of the posts and comments at Gather directed at you. But you have remained strong in your beliefs and convictions and that's all that really matters.
Once again, thanks for the kind words and I'm glad that you are a member of our group even though you present opposing opinions.
Marilyn. I'm so glad you introduced me to Gather. It's the best social network I've ever come across. I only wish I had known about Gather before spending so much time and effort at the other site.
