(CNN) – Mississippi Democratic Rep. Gene Taylor blasted the budget outline President Obama submitted to Capitol Hill today, saying “I don’t like it…change is not running up even bigger deficits that George Bush did.”
“That’s what George Bush did very well. Apparently that’s what President Obama is doing.”
Taylor, a conservative “blue dog” who voted against the stimulus bill, noted he was still reviewing the plan but was troubled by the additional amount of spending for many government programs on top of the recent increased funding many agencies received in the economic stimulus bill.<
Republican or democrat, I do not think running up a deficit his first year in office is a good way to go, and it really upsets me that so many democrats blast Bush, but in turn support Obama for the exact same things Bush did.
No one had a better option than going to war with Iraq, no one could prove that there was NOT WMD's in Iraq, and the war on terror has cost us billions, and even if Obama is going to pull the troops out of Iraq, he's talking about a war in Afghanistan.
It doesn't matter who is in office, I read an article today that a professor in Kuwait laid out a plan to kill 300,000 in America by using anthrax, and sneaking it across the border from Mexico.
These people want to wipe us out, and they will do it any way they can.
If we pull out of Iraq now, will we be back there in a few short years? Will we be fighting a war on 2 fronts, or will it lead to a third war against Iran?
They have figured out a way to do it, and if its as easy as they think, it can be done, can you imagine 300,000 people being wiped out in an hour? Sorry but I think this terror threat needs to be addressed.

We are so vulnerable it's ridiculous. Is everyone blind to that?
I, myself, could think of thousands of easy ways to evoke a terrorist attack here...
if I could think that up, anyone could... especially terrorist organizations with lots of money behind them.
We need to get smarter and learn to think like they do... it's the only way to cut them off at the pass. Unfortunately I don't see that happening in an administration that wants to have tea and crumpets with the terrorists.
This will be compounded by the credit card bubble that is in the process of popping.
Gonna be a bumpy ride.
