Why do I feel that this is typical political BS
Feed everyone a line of what they want to hear, and then as soon as he gets what he wants, the passage of his SPENDING BILL, he tracks back and changes his tune.
According to Obama the economy couldn't wait.
And now its going to wait?
What else is he going to recant on his promises?

I am still in utter disbelief and shock that America is just sitting back letting our nation be raped like this.
The congress and senate had less than 24 hours to even look this thing over before voting on it. How is that right? How can that be right? This thing is HUGE and it would be IMPOSSIBLE for any of them to know exactly what they were voting on in that amount of time.
If someone asked a person to sign on the line wouldn't they want to know what they were signing for???
Yet this passed without the bat of an eyelash. I am just absolutely blown away.
And this is only the beginning.
By the time 4 years is up what will America be like then???

I am not happy with this bill, which Obama himself admitted to that it was a spending bill, but I don't think its going to help, I think it will make things worse..... And make things worse more quickly.
I agree this is only the beginning, but people like you and I are in the minority. And there are those here on Gather that don't like it when I disagree with them, or they think I'm talking political satyr, and being sarcastic, or trying to be funny when I talk about political topics.

typical Obama, he did this during his campaign with the tax numbers and went down from 250K of no tax hikes down to 100K before the election.....why should I expect this to be different?
