In a simple word Hamas or is it Hammas? Doesn't matter to me how its spelled.
Anyway Israel has put up with groups and countries that have been trying to get them off the face of the map since they became a country back in the 40's (not sure of the exact date)
Like the Lord's anger Israel has been slowly and steadily building up an ager against being attack by Hamas and countries like Iran who make no secret that they want to wipe Israel off the face of the Earth.
Lots of civilian lives were lost, but what do you expect when Hamas is known to not care about human life and will put a civilian in harms way......and in a war situation, there is often not time to evacuate a building where civilians are in harms way.
Israel was justified in attacking Gaza, and I will not be surprised if they attack again, as Hamas has started missile attacks again......
The U.S has long been an Ally to Israel, and if Obama caves into pressure to cut ties with them, I won't be happy at all. It will show what kind of leader Obama really is, not a leader, but a follower......like a kid in a school yard who wants people to like him and be what they want to be.
