My gather friend David Mirsky has point out some video's of Gov. Palin. I have watch and read some more about her.
What I have seen and read, she is a very remarkable young woman who has a very good future ahead of her. I agree with some of her views and if she had been running against the other Republican candidates, I would have easily voter for her. (That would have been after to see how she handles the campaign pressures. So many good candidates shrink and make really dumb mistakes.)
But she was pick by a gentleman that has over 25 years on experience in our government. (Much more if you consider his military career.)
You would think that over his long time in our congress that he has met many Senators, Congressmen, Governors, etc. that he could find one with a little more credentials. Are the Republicans that weak on good candidates he had to find a person he has met only once? Or is he just a puppet that goes along with his secret backers?

So for the last week no one has been talking about his failings. And he knows that any direct attacks on Palin will backfire. Very clever politically.
Unfortunately the fact that he picked someone he only met once and solely for political expediency proves how unfit he is to be President. We need a President who thinks, not makes off the cuff decisions and waves his hands in the air. Unfortunately, that is McCain's history, and his future. We cannot afford that future.
Time to focus back on McCain.
I think McCain clearly likes working with Lieberman and he would have been a natural choice. But McCain is politically shrewed and saw that because Obama failed to choose Hillary or perhaps a rising star like Kaine of Virginia he had shown his insecurity and weakness. McCain realized by choosing Palin he could highlight and make evident Obama's Achilles' heel so speak to the voters and by this choice , which would show his own self-confidence and strength. McCain may not have a tenth of the intelligence of Obama but when Americans perceive weakness in a candidate it's over. It may well be over and if so Obama did it to himself.
Use a second letter of i for women and a for men when filling in the blank.
